Amarnath Yatra To Be Held Between June 28 And August 22 This Year
The Amarnath Yatra Shrine Board announced the date of the annual Amarnath Yatra. It will run from 28 June to 22 August this year, the decision was taken at a meeting held by the board.
Amid the rising cases of the coronavirus COVID-19 across the nation, the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) cancelled the Amarnath Yatra for last year in 2020. The authorities had said that the yatra would begin July 21 and continue till August 3, however, the decision was rolled back.
Despite the sudden surge in cases in several states across the nation, the board has decided to hold the event, keeping with the COVID-19 pandemic guidelines.

Kedarnath Temple To Reopen To Devotees On May 17, Badrinath On May 18
The portals of Kedarnath Temple will be reopened for devotees on May 17, a spokesperson of the Uttarakhand Char Dham Devasthanam Management Board said on Thursday. The idol of Lord Shiva will be moved out of its winter abode at Ukhimath's Omkareshwar temple on May 14. The famous temple will reopen for devotees at 5 am on May 17. The temple was closed on November 16 last year.
Badrinath Temple, which was closed on November 19, will reopen to devotees on May 18, the spokesperson said.
Gangotri and Yamunotri temples will reopen on May 14.

Amarnath Yatra: Preparations To Start Helicopter Service From Srinagar This Time
Amarnath Yatra is going to get air services from Srinagar International Airport to base camp Baltal in 2021. It has been suggested to start helicopter service from Srinagar to Baltal amidst travel preparations. This will be a great facility for needy travelers. Till now helicopter service is provided from Baltal (Nilgrath) to Panjtarni and Pahalgam to Panjtarni only.

Jammu. For the Shri Amarnath Yatra 2021, the state administration will start preparing with the goal of reaching six lakh Shiva devotees in the yatra.
