Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra May Restart From Aug 15 Independence Day
If all goes well, devotees of Mata Vaishno Devi will be able to have darshan at the cave shrine in Katra, Jammu, on August 15 Independence Day.
According to latest reports, the top officials of Jammu and Kashmir state administration are already engaged in a round of talks to discuss the reopening of the temple for pilgrims after four and a half months.
Reportedly, the officials are mulling over the possibility of reopening Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, but the decision will rest on the state of COVID-19 cases in J&K. Already, Shri Amarnath Yatra and Kishtwar’s Machel Yatra have been cancelled. Additionally, lockdown is in full force across several districts of J&K.

Himachal Pradesh’s Mata Chintpurni Temple Starts Home Delivery Of ‘prasad’
With temples closed amid the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, the Mata Chintpurni temple in Himachal Pradesh's Una has started the facility of home delivery of 'prasad' to its devotees through online request.
A day after the facility — 'Online Prasad Chhinmastika Bhog' — of the temple was launched by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, around 300 orders have been received.
"We have received close to 300 orders on our website so far, which is encouraging. 'Prasad' offering is available in three categories as of now — ₹201, ₹601 and ₹1,101. Corbett Tiger Reserve Again Open For Tourists, These Are New Rules
After a gap of about two and a half months, the popular range of Corbett Tiger Reserve including Bijrani, Dhela, and Jhirna was opened to tourists on Saturday.
The Corbett Tiger Reserve was closed to tourists in March following the lockdown implemented in the wake of the Kovid-19 epidemic.
However, Dhikala zone has not been opened for tourists as it is usually closed from 15 June during the monsoon.

Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) said that the Amarnath Yatra 2020 will begin from July 21 and will end on August 3. This year the Amarnath Yatra will go on for 14 days, the yatra to the cave shrine situated at 3,880 metres above the sea level in the Anantnag district of J&K is delayed due to the amid Covid-19 contagion. The 'Pratham puja' was held on Friday, June 5 at Chaitanya Ashram, Jammu. All the rituals while performing puja were done following the standard operating procedures. Religious Places Get Ready; Tirumala To Open On June 11
The temple of Lord Venkateswara in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirumala will open for pilgrims from June 11 with stringent restrictions even as Odisha announced on Friday it will not allow religious sites till the end of June.
While the Jammu and Kashmir administration is expected to take a call on the opening of the Vaishno Devi shrine on Saturday, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath said over five people will not be allowed inside a religious place at one point of time when they open on Monday.
The Union home ministry has allowed the opening of religious places from June 8, though states can take their own calls depending on the ground situation. For example, officials in Delhi and Mumbai have decided not to open places of worship for now. Jharkhand has taken a similar stand.
