Leh Ladakh Tour Package Via Manali

Day 1: Arrival Chandigarh – Manali

Arrive Chandigarh. On arrival transfer to hotel at Manali.Overnight at hotel. 

Day 2: Manali – Sarchu

Early morning pickup from Manali Hotel and head for Sarchu, via Rohtang Pass (13050 ft) and passing through Keylong, Jispa and Dracha and then cross the Baralacha Pass (16020 ft) to arrive at Sarchu in the late afternoon. Take Dinner Overnight in camp at Sarchu.

 

Day 3: Sarchu – Leh

 

After early after breakfast leave for Leh en-route crossing Nakeela and Lachalung-la Pass (16,617 ft.). Break for lunch at Pang and then drive on towards Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (a vast plateau stretching for 42 kms) and then crossing Taglang-La (17,585ft) and driving through the upper Indus Valley. Reach Leh by evening. Overnight in hotel.

 Day 4: Leh Local

After early breakfast we will proceed forfull day sightseeing of Shey, Thiksey & Hemis.

About Shey: - Shey was the summer Palace of Ladakh Kings and is where you can see the 36Ft. high statue of Buddha made of copper and covered with gold.

About Thicksey: - The twelve storied monastery of Thicksey is situated in the most prominent of positions, lies on an island Mountain.

About Hemis: Farthest away from Leh, this is the wealthiest Monastery in Ladakh belonging to the Red Sect - it is here each summer that plays are held and Ladakh from all parts of the country will visit Hemis.

 Evening return to Leh. Take Dinner and overnight at Hotel

Day 4: Leh - Pangong Lake – Leh

After breakfast Leave for Pangong Lake. You will cross the Changla Pass to reach Pangong. Enjoy the beauty of the Pangong Lake high altitude. Evening return back and Take dinner and overnight hotel stay at Leh.

Day 5: Leh – Khardungla – Sham Region – Leh

After breakfast day excursion to Khardongla pass which is the highest motor able pass in the world 5600 Mtrs and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of world records. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountains. Afternoon back to the hotel and time for your personal shopping and explore market, Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa and surrounding. Take Dinner and Overnight at Hotel.

Day 6: Leh - Nubra Valley

After breakfast visit to Khardung La pass, this is the World’s highest motor able road at 18380 feet. After that proceed to the Nubra Valley. Arrival Nubra Valley and Check In per booked hotel/camp and explore Diskit, Hunder Villages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Diskit and Hunder Village. Take dinner and overnight at Nubra Valley.

Day 7: Leh – Alchi - Leh

In Morning after breakfast drive to Alchi which is approx 2 hours drive. Alchi is situated to the west of the town of Leh. Built by Translator, RinchenZangpo, back to the year 1000 AD. Alchi Monastery of Leh Ladakh reflects an Indian touch, especially in its paintings. Stay in Alchi take dinner and overnight hotel stay.

Day 8: Alchi – Kargil

After breakfast leave for Kargil. On the way you can visit the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining “Moonland” hills. Later drive towards Kargil enroute viewing the 9-Mtrs. tall rock sculpture of the Maitreya Buddha at Mulbek (7th –8th century AD).Take Dinner and Overnight in hotel at Kargil.

Day 9: Kargil-Sonamarg-Srinagar

Early departure for Srinagar driving through Drass (famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world) and crossing the Zoji-la Pass (11,500-ft. / 3,505 m) to reach Sonamarg from where it's a smooth 2-hour drive to Srinagar through the beautiful Kashmir countryside. Take Dinner Overnight at Srinagar.

Day 10: Srinagar Departure

After breakfast we transfer airport to connect flight for onwards destination.
